Quai de la Photo offers photographic cruises, in the form of themed workshops for small groups or tailor-made excursions. Discover Paris from another angle, from the bridges that span the river to the monuments that line it, via snapshots of scenes of life.

PHOTO CRUISE "UNDER THE BRIDGES OF PARIS
In Paris, 37 bridges span the Seine. Each has its own history, form and material. From the river, an infinite number of vantage points are available to the photographer. From the undersides of the bridges, rich in relief and hidden details where the reflections of the water are a dance of light, to the folds of the current on the stone piers... Discover the capital as you've never seen it before!
Main points of interest :
The Pont Alexandre III with its lanterns, the Pont Neuf with its mascarons, the Pont de la Concorde with its arches.

PHOTO CRUISE "PARIS FROM THE SEINE
Introduction to documentary photography. Paris's most important monuments line the banks of the Seine. From the river, some of them stand out and fill the frame, while others only emerge under the sky, which is bigger here than anywhere else in Paris. Snapshots, scenes of life, urban landscapes, monuments: this workshop will introduce you to the different facets of documentary photography.

Hôtel de Ville, Conciergerie, Institut de France, Monnaie de Paris, Notre Dame, Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, Grand Palais, Invalides, Assemblée Nationale, Ministère des Affaires Étrangères, Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, American Church, Russian Church, Eiffel Tower.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Objectives of each photo cruise :
help you get the most out of your camera (focus, focus zone, light metering),
perceive the subtleties of different ambient light and weather situations (dark, backlight, bright, cloudy), grasp the notion of exposure (light measurement mode, exposure compensation, apertures), choose your point of view (framing, distance, depth of field, perspective, lines and vanishing points, wide shot or detail), choose from your images (edit your photos).
Duration of each cruise : 3h30
Cruise departure and arrival : Quai de la Photo
Number of participants : 4 people minimum, 10 people maximum
Price per person : 245 €
Language English or French, depending on the day chosen

Course :
Start at 9:30 a.m. sharp at the Quai de la Photo photo studio Boarding at 10 a.m. Cruise until 12 noon Debriefing and photo selection from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Quai de la Photo studio and gallery
Materials required:
you'll need to bring your digital camera (hybrids, SLRs, compacts) or any type of camera with A or Av, S or Tv and M modes.
