From the moment it opens, Quai de la Photo welcomes La Comète, the photographic bookshop. After more than 15 years in Paris's 10th arrondissement, the Picto laboratories bookshop will be embarking on this new adventure in July 2023.

La Comète, an image-focused bookshop, offers an independent selection of photo books, from classics to unclassifiable works, as well as events such as signings, meetings and workshops.
As part of the Picto Group , a major player in high-end photography for over 70 years, La Comète is supported by the Picto Foundation.
La Comète's arrival at Quai de la Photo is part of a strategy toopen up photography to an ever-wider public. It represents an opportunity to extend the special attention paid to photo books, photographers and publishing professionals.
In its dedicated space, the bookshop will continue to develop its offer centered on the image in its materiality, its focus on French independent publishing and its commitment to emerging artists.
