This portfolio-reading session at Quai de la Photo is dedicated to documentary or journalistic photography.
Each photography student is interviewed for 25 minutes by a professional reader who is a member of the National Association of Iconographers.
Each student photographer brings a documentary or photojournalistic subject.
It can include between 06 and 40 silver or digital photographs (iPad or computer, but not smartphones).
To make the most of this meeting, we recommend that you prepare a brief presentation of yourself and your portfolio; select your images with a view to this reading dedicated to documentary / journalistic photography.

At the end of the readings, one of the jury's "Coup de Coeur" will be selected to enable the artist to exhibit his or her work on Quai de la Photo.

4 reader of the National Association of Iconographers :
- Ania Biszewska, photo editor at Bayard for 22 years, has also worked for Gallimard and AFP. Passionate about photojournalism, she brings emotion to visual news through the eyes of a photographer. The organization of reports and the choice of images enable her to propose a singular reading of the contemporary world.
- Isabelle Saint-Paul, photo editor and multimedia journalist for the press (Le Figaro, La Croix, La Vie, Geo, TF1) is currently photo editor for Capital, Prisma Presse.
- Claudia Zels, trilingual iconographer (English-French-German) with 25 years' experience in the French magazine industry (people, IT, decoration and lifestyle). Since 2004, she has been photo editor at Prisma Media for the magazines Management and Capital. Active member of two professional associations: Filles de la photo and Association nationale des iconographes.
- Souâd Mechta, versatile photo editor, meets the journalistic and artistic needs of the press and publishing industry with reliable, relevant visuals. For the past 20 years, she has been sourcing images from international iconographic sources and selecting a variety of photographic scripts to organize original photo productions.
